Universal Mobile Robot

Compact Universal Mobile Robot vein authentication software (40KB main module) can be installed in mobile phones, for example, and uses the camera to explore the vein of the wrist for identification. The technology appears to have many advantages: It works fast (tested myself), is based entirely in software, compatible with a variety of processors and operating systems, which can be used to people doing hard manual labor ( who can not use fingerprints), and most importantly, extremely accurate (the company refers to a false acceptance rate of 0.001% and a false rejection rate of less than 0.1%). The same award winning software works with cameras with a sensor 1MP or less.

Gruml – a lightweight Google Reader for mac

Google Reader is an invaluable service to their consumption of news sources (assuming you even use RSS), but lives in the browser, which means he lacks the capacity to react and polish of a desktop application. For Mac users out there looking for the best of both worlds, I present to Gruml a desktop application used to from Google Reader.

Gruml is a lightweight application that sits on your dock and menu bar and give him all her kindness RSS. Gruml The wonderful thing is that it provides a large number of Google Reader that have come to know and love, and puts them in the desktop client, including the role of "taste" and the exchange of messages (with notes and tags) and the titles of reading that friends share with you.

And for those here who need Twitterholics Tweet your new Gruml comes with support for Twitter, which allows items Tweet (converted in short URLs) directly from the application.

Gruml important is still in beta, and has his faults, such as running slow start and missed some settings in the Preferences menu. But in general, is a great application that works well and shows promise.
